Packing List for the Alps
A Woman’s Guide to Reconnecting with the Alps.

The key is to be comfortable. Over the years I have carried many things and tested lots of gear the below is what I suggest for comfort through out the day and night.

DAY HIKE IN THE SUMMER:

Dress in non cotton clothing, in layers so you can take things off or put things on when you need. Overall I suggest the below is in your pack:

• Prima loft (weather dependant)
• Waterproof jacket (weather dependant)
• Vest
• Sunhat
• Hat or headband
• Comfortable shoes tracking shoes
• Waterproof Backpack 20L - 25L
• Trekking polls (optional but helpful!)
• Water bottle (plastic bottle)
• Sun screen
• Sunglasses (Cat 3 or 4)
• “Auch” pouch with personal medication (pain killers), blister plasters, period toiletries if needed.
• Phone Charger or small power bank + Cash
