The Idea
This custom-designed 5-day, 4-night itinerary is made based on my local expertise to fully immerse you in the magic of this steep, narrow valley. You will traverse secluded trails alongside iconic spots, surrounded by chamois, ibex, and whistling marmots, while eagles and bearded vultures soar overhead. The journey culminates with an unforgettable night at the Hörnli Hut, perched on the Matterhorn’s ridge, before descending into the village of Zermatt. Deigned with passion and love of the mountains at the hart.

Day 1
Day 1
Randa
We start in the village of Randa, where we begin climbing up to the longest suspended bridge in Europe, spanning 494 meters! Afterward, we traverse to the hamlet of Täschalp. Here, we stay at the lovely Täschalp Lodge, overlooking the iconic Weisshorn.
Day 2
Day 2
Täschalp
Another day of stunning views as we edge closer to Zermatt. We walk past many postcard-perfect views and we start seeing some of the lakes reflecting the Matterhorn, finishing in a deep, hidden valley at a fairytale hut.
Day 3

Fluhalp
High above the valley, surrounded by the majestic peaks of the
Zermatt Alps, the Fluhalp mountain hut and restaurant is an
experience. Enjoy culinary delights, warmth and authenticity of the hut and the lake you can swim in just outside. The we start climbing up again to the old observatory perched at the top of Gornergrat 3089m, overlooking an incredible Glacier views before checking our selves into a historic hotel near by.

Hörnlihütte
The last night of our trek is at the world-famous Hörnlihütte on the Hörnli Ridge. It's an unforgettable experience as you touch and walk the first section of the most iconic rock. With Zermatt just below us and glacial views all around, you soak up the mountaineering atmosphere of the hut and appreciate the feat this mountain requires of the alpinists who climb to the summit.

Zermatt
We descend from the Hörnlihütte back to Zermatt through another stunning valley. Upon arrival, we can look up to spot the hut we just left, perched high above. (Option to take partly the gondolas down and finish the day early)
